Sia Kathe Isobelle Furler, was born on December 18th 1975, in Adelaide. Both of her parents are artists while her father also is an accomplished professional musician. Adelaide High School was her first choice and she started to think about the possibility of a career in music. When she was a young girl she was a massive admirer of Stevie Wonders and Aretha Franklin.
Sia Career
Sia began her professional musical career in the mid 90s with Crisp the Acid Jazz band. Sia contributed to two albums prior to the band’s ended up disbanding in 1997. After that, she released the album OnlySee. The album wasn’t well-received.
Sia relocated into London after leaving New York in 2000. She was recruited by Jamiroquai as an assistant vocalist. Zero 7 was also an associate. She also worked on the album with Zero 7. Healing is Difficult was quickly released , and Sia’s follow-up album saw many accolades. Sia was dissatisfied about the publicity given to The album’s release by the manager, and she decided to quit Sony to sign with an affiliate company of the Universal Music Group.
