Professor. Ahmad Buk graduated from his father’s homeschooling. He then pursued his studies in the field of Islamic Jurisprudence, Fiqh where he began his studies by studying Wataniyya under the guidance under the guidance of Sufi, Alhaji Baba Al-Waiz (Babal-Waiz) at Kantudu.
He began his studies with Al Ismawiy, who was on the instruction by Mallam Amadu Langoti. He then continued his studies with his one of the first Sunni reviver in Kumasi. His notable classmates include The former Ashanti the regional head imam Mallam Imrana Musah Mallam Muntari. They also include the present and former Khalifs of Wataniyya the present chief Imam of the Dagomba community, Ustaz Umar Mallam Dan Azumi, and Alhaji Saidi.
The Dr. Ahmad Bamba learned tailoring and design-making from Mallam Awudu alongside his education. He was one of the students at the school of the Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Ansari. He was Dr. Ahmad Buk finished at the Ghanaian High School, and then finished his Arabic studies at the University of Saudi Arabia. He earned an BA, MA, and Ph.D. at the Islamic University of Madinah. He also received his doctorate at Bayero University Kano.

The funeral took place on the Darul Hadis Mosque, in the Tudun Yola area of Kano following prayers on Friday. It was a tragic tragedy for Islamic society in general.
